Our Commitment to Diversity

One of our main reasons for founding internshipHelp was that we wanted everybody to have access to the best information about internships. Currently too many talented people do not get internships, or do not even apply for them, because of a lack of knowledge about how to make a good application. We passionately believe that who gets internships should be determined by ability, not by who has access to information about professions, companies, and application processes.

A startling number of internships are still given out on the basis of who people know, and what school or university background they have. This lack of diversity and meritocracy not only damages our economy, as companies don’t get the best staff; it also damages our society, as any lack of equality of opportunity is desperately unfair and morally unacceptable. We at internshipHelp are absolutely committed to widening access to internships and giving everyone a chance to land the top jobs. It is only when everyone who wants an internship, whatever their class, race, disability (read more), wealth or background is fully knowledgeable about which to go for and how to get one that this website will be judged a success.

At internshipHelp there is only one group to whom we offer preferential treatment; those who are talented, ambitious, hard working and interested in a top flight career. If that’s you, then welcome to our site and we hope you enjoy using it. It will hopefully lay the platform for what we hope will be a successful internship application, and then a successful and enriching career.
