internshipHelp was founded just over a year ago as a response to a strong feeling there was insufficient information about the best internships. In a hypercompetitive job market, winning a great internship was becoming essential, in all fields. Sadly, not everyone could get the top class information they needed to even have a chance of winning a great internship.

After over a year of research, the site is now up and running and full of an unbelievable amount of facts, helpful thoughts and great advice about internships. Best of all, it is totally free to access. It has been the work of many people who won top internships and now want to help others do the same. As the website grows we are looking to recruit more people to join our team. See the opportunities available below.

Sector Specialist Directors

We are now looking to recruit Sector Specialist Directors to help manage the site. We need one Director for each of the different fields the site currently covers or wants to cover in the future:

  • Alternatives (includes Teaching, Research, Travelling, Entrepreneurship)
  • Consultancy
  • Engineering (includes Energy, Patents, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Consultancy)
  • Investment Banking
  • IT & Computing (includes IT, Computing)
  • Law
  • Marketing, Sales & Media (includes Marketing, Sales, Media, Market Reserch)
  • Professional Services
  • Public Services
  • Social Responsibility (includes NGOs, Charities, Environmental Agencies)

Responsibilities: A Director would have the independence and creative freedom to add material such as new and interesting internships, events and major industry news onto a page once a week.
Rewards: Given the individual will be looking for an internship in their given sector anyway, we would expect this to take no longer one or two hours each week. Pay is negotiable and competitve. Furthermore, your experience will help you find out more about your chosen careers and make a great addition to your CV.
Future Progression:The site is expected to undergo a serious expansion in January, with a hope that several of the very biggest names in financial services and law financially supporting, and working with, the company. If you are impressing us by January, it would be in our interests to further reward you with greater autonomy and renumeration.

IT Executive

As the site progresses from the beta trial stage and tries to encorporate more features, we will need a creative and entrepreneurial mind web developer to join as an Executive and Partner. A strong background in web design and develoment is essential, as is enthusiasm and creativity.

Responsibilities: Oversee maintainance and development of the website.
Rewards: Equity is negotiable. All costs are reimbursed. Can work from home.
Future Progression: Stay on as a Partner of the website in the long term.

Marketing Executive

With more and more information available on the website and the number of contributors increasing, we would like to reach as many prospective interns as possible. To this end we are looking for an Executive and Partner to head up promoting the website amongst students and other societies.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing strategy to students via emails, advertising, campus visits, national media, etc. Also maintain good public relations.
Rewards: Equity is negotiable. All costs are reimbursed. Opportunities for visiting other universities.
Future Progression: Stay on as a Partner of the website in the long term.

Sales Executive

The website can only stay live if enough money can be raised to keep it going, keep contributions coming and new features being added. For this the website heavily depends on the generosity of recruiters and sponsors. Hence we are looking for an Executive and Partner to liaise with these companies and approach new ones for support.

Responsibilities: Correspond with existing/new sponsors and maintain good industry relations.
Rewards: Equity is negotiable. All costs are reimbursed. Opportunities for hosting dinners and socials with high-profile clients.
Future Progression: Stay on as a Partner of the website in the long term.
